Uitgeverij Holland is an independent publishing house for more then 90 years. They are based in the historical centre of Haarlem and focus on children books, poetry, travel journals and classic adult novels.
When Sander Koolwijk was selected to publish his official debut poetry book he introduced us as the graphic designers he liked to design the cover of his book. Luckily the publisher like our work and ideas and asked us if we were interested in redesigning the Windroos series. A new collection of 4 poetry books were released every year in this series so we created a concept to make the collection of 4 books fit together perfectly, not only by colors but also by text that is only readable when you put the books next to each other.
Besides the covers for the ‘Windroos’ series we have also designed the covers for:
